The 2025 Embassy of France in Nigeria Scholarship is open to Nigerian students to study in France. No IELTS is required. The scholarship is organized by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the French Ministry for Higher Education and Research, the French Embassy, and Campus France Nigeria.
Eligibility Requirements
- Nigerian nationality and residency in Nigeria
- Maximum age: 35 years
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Environment
- Completion of National Service (NYSC)
- Commitment to study in France for the 2025/2026 academic year
- French language proficiency not required
- Applicants must apply to a public university through Etudes en France, with tuition fees not exceeding €4,000 per year

25th February 2025 : Deadline for payment to take the Campus France interview
15th March 2025 : Deadline for Campus France academic interviews
The reviewed applications will be transmitted automatically to the connected institutions by April.
30th April 2025 : Deadline for pedagogical committees and school decisions
1st May 2025 : Deadline for student to pick their institution of choice
From May to June 2025 : Interview for scholarship recipients
July 2025 : As soon as selected, start of the visa application process.
September/October 2025 : Beginning of the 2025/2026 academic year, departure for France.
